CD Duplication
For short-run duplication projects – 250 to 5,000 units – CD duplication provides you with fast turnaround and low cost. We’ll duplicate your master on our high-speed burners, ink jet up to four colors or add a custom-designed label, and include any print collateral required – all within a matter of days.
CD Replication
For larger projects – 1,000 or more units – CD replication will give you the same high-quality product used by top record producers and Fortune 500 software companies. |
We print directly onto the face of CDs we duplicate and replicate. We’ll work with you to create a design that’s just right – it can be something you’ve created, something we’ve created, or a mix of the two.
Silk Screen
Our replicated CDs are printed on a silkscreen printer – for that professional look you’ll find on store-bought CDs and DVDs. As it applies to CDs, the process is the same as that of screening t-shirts. PMS color inks are applied in layers with the use of silk screens. The process begins by exposing a film to a screen covered in a layer of light-sensitive emulsion. After processing, the resulting image is a clear area on the screen that allows the ink through the screen.
Ink Jet
For duplicated CDs, we use ink jet printing for a high-quality, customized finish. With the capability of high resolutions (1200x1200dpi), a true photo-quality product is achieved. This is an effective method for short-run jobs with quick turnaround times.
Offset Printing
Offset printing is also available for duplicated and replicated CDs. For top-quality CD printing, the offset method is second to none. A printing plate is prepared for every color that is going to be printed. Ink from the plates is transferred (offset) onto a cylindrical rubber roll (blanket) which then transfers the ink onto the CD face. |
